v18 no more separate internal IP address and public IP address?

Several months ago, there was mention of (thankfully) simplifying IP address and, if memory serves, DNS lookups.
Where can tech notes or documentation be found about this?

Hi @uptime1,

For the time being, DNS helper has been suspended due to some obstacles we weren't able to get working in all situations. The solution for now is split DNS.
