V18 to v20 Upgrade - Key Customer POC

Hello,

We have a customer that runs a call center and we need to trial the upgrade before it gets signed off to production.

Is there a way we can backup the config and run side by side without affecting the current license or FQDN assigned?

Can anyone confirm if the below is affected:
Reporting from v18 to v20. This is heavily utilized at the moment, are there any common issues?
3CX windows client App for Windows 16.3.0.264. Can anyone confirm the legacy client will work with v20?

I'd appreciate any comments on the above.

The 2 machines will fight for the DNS and you'll end up with issues.

Backup the config without the license, reinstall it with a temp key.

I would also like to learn whether the 3CX windows client App for Windows 16.3.0.264 will still function after upgrade to V20 as we will migrate before dec 31 next.
