Hello,
I'm new to 3CX, if we have a system with 2 SIP trunks and 6 users, how many internal and external calls can we have?
If a user is on an internal call, can we another 2 calls on the SIP trunks?
If a user is on an external call, I presume we can have another incoming or outgoing call.
If a user is forwarded to a mobile and an incoming call comes in then out on his mobile, a 3rd user can't receive external calls and nobody can make outgoing calls either but can they still dial someone internally?
Thanks

It is all based on your simultaneous call subscription.

3CX is licensed based on the active usage of a system. So if you have a 4SC subscription, having a SIP trunk with 8 channels is pretty much useless as the PBX wont allow you to go above 4 calls internally and externally.

1. Internal Calls: Internal calls (between users within the system) don’t consume SIP trunks, so you can have as many internal calls as you need without affecting external call capacity.
External Calls: With 2 SIP trunks, this is based on your provider how many concurant calls they have assigned you on perticualr sip by default it 2 so if you have 6 users then total four agents can handel the call either inbound or outbound

2 Call Forwarding : Yes they can dial internally.

In this scenario, if we have a 4SC subscription and 2 SIP trunks, if a user has a forward to his mobile would work as long as no other call is active (either internal or external). If a call is already active, the forward to a mobile (or another extension) won't work.

Assuming no other calls are active, yes. It would consume 2SC from your license. One for the incoming portion of the call and another one for the outgoing portion to go to your mobile phone (GSM). To answer a call on your 3CX mobile client would NOT consume a 2nd call.
