Solved V20 SIP Trunks

Hi,

Just wondering if anybody knows where the Auto Discovery on the SIP trunk setup is on V20. Or even if its available. My SIP trunk provider requires this. Its available and works fine on V18. Also, the outbound proxy in V20 isn't an option either.

Yes, its a none supported trunk. The 'supported' trunks are very limited in Australia but I have used the trunks for at least 3 years now. I will try the export. Thanks for your quick response.

If youre using a supported trunk template to set up your unsupported trunk in v20, the template will overwrite some settings so you'll need to add it as a generic trunk

Yes, that's what I thought but I don't see the generic trunk option in the country select? There is a world wide option but that has trunk templates in. I should also add, the same SIP providers trunk works on an upgraded system from 18 to 20. Just can't add a new trunk.

Is your Instance Hosted by 3CX?
In 3CX Hosted Generic SIP Trunk is not available. Only 3CX Supported SIP Trunks are available at the moment.

Thanks Dimitris, yes its 3CX hosted. I understand why the trunk from the same provider works on a system upgraded from v18 to v20 though.

This option won't allow me to change the Authentication ID (SIP User ID)

Just letting you know, the export/import worked. Lucky I had an existing trunk form the same provider already registered on V18. Thanks for your help!

You'll need to select Generic as the Country, to select the Generic SIP Trunk.
