v20 Standard to v20 NFR License upgrade

As the title states I'm doing a v20 Standard to v20 NFR License upgrade. Is it really an upgrade? The only thing changing is the license and the features that come with it.

Anyway, I can't just update the license it seems I need to reinstall the whole dam thing (annoying).

That being said, how could I take a backup of my current v20 Standard system WITHOUT the license information so that I can use the new NFR key? I haven't found anything on the forum about this. Please advise, thanks!

Officially you have to do a new install with your NFR key. However, there are suggestions on this forum on how its possible to do a backup and restore with a new key.. you'll have to do a search.
