V20 user management rights impressive to go back.

Hello
With v20 3CX sell a better right users management ...
but previously it could be possible to manage it with user groups
Now users groups are departements and user have only choice of profile rights : users, operator, ... but no way to manage exactly what you want ..

An user could be an operator of an other group even is not member ... but impossible to change-it for groups user are in ...

I mean Nick replied (I know, it's silver forum and you can't see it, but OP should be able to) and basically said this is how the system is.

I know, they've said that numerous times on the forum. But if it had enough votes...

I would guess, they made a programming/performance decision to not do a database look up for permissions on each page or click, and just check one role number.

I envision a Plesk-like matrix for email notifications as well (a column for who receives it), but can't reply in Ideas either now...
