Vastly expanding on phone options

Is anyone at 3cx going to ever start working on vastly expanding the options you can change within your phones under the phone provisioning tab? There are just so many options that you can change that I'm honestly surprised they haven't chosen to dive deep into that. Yes I know you can edit templates, but that only gets you so far and is very much so a pain in the butt to deal with, from implementation, to support.

Would be nice if they had a fanvil flavor of options, a yealink flavor of options, and well I don't care about polycom or anything else really but you get the point

Heck the ability to static assign IP addresses and DNS would be great even.

We provision the basic things needed for an IP Phone user that have a direct relation to our software, like PAging Groups, language, date/time format, ringtones, distinct ringtone for Queues (for devices that support it), etc.

If you need a provisioning option to set a static IP and DNS for IP Phones, it means that you don't have a DHCP server to make MAC address reservations, which in my brain means of two things, either there are that many phones, in which case do it manually, or there is a serious problem with this setup.

To make it easier for users trying to change things though, we only provision the absolute minimum, which means that you can manually make changes through the interface and they will be maintained after reboots.

Now if you are REALLY adamant about provisioning everything, then I suppose you could make custom templates, which we also allow, but we will not offer support for any issues that use them, as they may be outdated and have not been vetted by the manufacturer or the 3CX team.
