Video Call ( distorted green camera picture) with Samsung A7 Tablet

Hi,

i am facing the following issue with the 3Cx app installed on the samsung A7 Tab .

my camera image appears fully distorted and green ( nothing is really visible except for random lines)

please note the below:

1. Samsung Tab A7 with android 10 ( latest update )
2. the same account can successfully make video call from different devices and the web client without any issue
3. 3cx App ver. 16.6.2.89

Can you confirm that other apps are working correctly, with regards to your video on the specific device you're using?

yes , all the other apps are working fine even running the 3cx web client on the same device works fine . the problem happens only when using the 3cx application

Have you tried disabling the rotation lock and switching between portrait and landscape? Does it work in either portrait or landscape?

I have tried switching between portrait and landscape. But still same problem

@SimonDXB are you running the latest version of the 3CX WebMeeting App on your tablet? The version mentioned above is the 3CX Phone App version.

the problem is with the 3cx phone app

I'd like to just summarise so we're on the same page.

The issue is with either:

1) 3CX app and issue with video calls

or

2) WebMeeting App and issue with webmeetings

From what you've said now, I believe it's number 1. Could you verify this?

Hi!

Could you please please do the following:

1. Open the Menu and go to Settings --> Advanced, scroll to the bottom and enable "Verbose" loggin.
2. Reproduce the issue with the distorted video
3. Go back to Settings --> Advanced and select "Send Log Report" and in the notes put the short description so our dev team can check it.
