Solved Video calls generating Missed Call in Ring Group

Hi,
I have a client who has Akuvox e16 (EXT:210)door phone. one Fanvil i53w (EXT:110), one X7A (EXT:111) and Linhome softphone (iOS) (EXT:112).
Fanvil i53w, X7A and Linhome extensions are in a group (Let's say 600) where Ring All is enabled.
The problem is audio calls are initiated from 210 it rings all the Ring Group Members. But when Video calls are initiated it rings any one device and the other devices gets missed call notification.

I tried replacing X7A and Linhome softphone (iOS) with Fanvil i53w. So all the members are now i53w. Still, it is the same.

Did anyone have a similar experience? Does anyone know what is the reason and what can be the solution?

Hello,

One of your phones in the ring group is answering the call (whichever one is fast enough each time).

I assume that you have Video Preview (or Early Video) enabled on on the Fanvils so you can see who is at the door, this is sufficient to cause this behavior exactly as you have described it.

3CX does not support video preview in ring groups so I'm not sure if there is any way around this. If you disable the video preview in the Fanvils the problem should go away.

I've experienced it too. So I disabled the video preview. But no luck.

Does it still ring on one device while the others get a missed call?
If so, the device that appears to still be ringing, must still has preview enabled.

You can also confirm it by looking at your call logs. You will actually see that the call was answered if the above is true.
