Solved Video in screen sharing session.

Hi all,

A new customer of ours has requested that she be able to see videos of web meeting participants whilst sharing her screen or sharing an application. I think she would like to be able to see videos without having to be in the web meeting page as the view of the application being shared is too small. She says this is possible in Zoom. Am I overlooking something? Is this an issue for others? If so, is 3CX working on this and for that matter other features for web meeting (like speech transcription)? Thanks all!

Hi Dave,

By default when you share your screen the participants videos appear to the left side.

If you have two monitors at your disposal, you can share screen 2 while still viewing the participants cameras on screen 1.

If you only have a single screen then you can share an application window instead but you'd need to resize the application to use all but the leftmost side of your screen so you can still see the participants in the background.

Try this in practice to see how it works and let us know how you get on
