Within 3CX there is a nice webmeeting tool to invite participants for a webcall, however there are many companies who have an own professional videoconferencing system from e.g. Cisco, Starleaf, Lifesize, Polycom. The enterprises use their systems and virtual meeting rooms to invite participants and are not interested to join an external webmeeting.

Zoom is often used as videoconferencing client which is able to connect to professional VC systems and is competing with the 3CX webmeeting functionality as it can do different and is free.

Are there plans to enhance 3CX with a client which can connect to other VC platforms?

Just to add that I am looking for an outbound client as 3CX is currently inbound only

Hello @UnDutchable30

I would recommend posting this as a feature request to our ideas section of the forum https://www.3cx.com/community/forums/3cx-ideas/ . All posts are reviewed by their corresponding Departments and, if feasible and voted for by other users as well, may be implemented in an upcoming service pack or update.

Yep,

Did that as well.

We're constantly making huge improvements to WebMeeting both visible to users and not. Our priorities first lie in doing the best we possibly can to provide features and functionality that will benefit the majority of our existing user base.

Making connectors to connect WebMeeting to other services is not one of our priorities at the moment.

Ok, a pity as outbound videoconferencing is for sure a big thing. Are you able to share some of the upcoming features

Yes of course, you'll be seeing what we're doing and what we're thinking of doing for 3CX WebMeeting in one of the upcoming blog posts. I'd rather not spill the beans in the first thread of the 3CX WebMeeting forum :D

Hi There

We seem to be having an issue with one of our clients webmeeting function.

When a webmeeting is scheduled and you log in, the error is "meeting not found" - however when you start a webmeeting now, you are able to log in without any hassles.

We have restarted the 3CX System Service
Port 5001 is open
Extension has both first name & last name
Extension has an email address

Regards
Serisha

Try restarting the 3CX System Service. This will force the PBX to sync any WebMeeting data with webmeeting.3cx.net and get things going.

Thank you for the response.

We have already done this but the error still occurs.

As this thread is about something else, i'd suggest you open a new one in the WebMeeting section so me or other can assist you better.
