Hi!

I'm trying to add SIP Trunk on 3CX, but having some issues.
I have a SNOM 821 phone, and I can configure the SIP on it, and receive and make calls.
But configuring on 3CX, it does not seam to work.

I have seen that my provider is not listed on the provider list, so I have tried the "Generic SIP Trunk" and "Generic VoIP Provider".
After inserting all the required information, I get a successful registacion, but can't rmake ou receive calls.
All ports required are configured on my router.

Am I missing something?

Thanks.

Did you configure an outbound rule? Also the Generic SIP Trunk will have different SIP parameters that a Snom phone so you may need to make some changes there.
Or you can use a 3CX supported provider and avoid all the guessing work.

Hi!

I have tried DE - Vodafone, and UK - Vodafone.
Non of them managed to register.
I think that the manual configuration, has better success, since it can register the service.
But can't go further than that.

I have tried to FW the calls on the phone to the 3CX, since the phone is register on 3CX, but I must missing something to!

Cant find the correct FW configuration for SNOM 821 to FW calls from "Identity 2" to "Identity 1".

Any more ideas?

Thanks.

Just to clarify, do you have any Outbound rules configured to use the trunk on outbound? Can you turn on Verbose logging and send over any INVITE messages from the system to the carrier for us to review?

Thanks!

Using a template for a different provider is not recommended since each template is tailor made for the specific provider. You will need to manually configure your trunk to get it to work.

I would avoid this since you will lose all control for inbound calls. Contact your provider and ask them what their SIP settings should be so you can match them in 3CX.

Yes, I do have Outbound rules active, but no successes.

I agree, that is way I'm trying to find the correct solution

Thank you

We would have to see what error messages you are seeing when trying to dial outbound. A lot of trunk errors are simply due to the way the call is setup, not using e.164 format to the carrier. Can you send the error message you are seeing in the Verbose logging?
