Good day all.
I would like to confirm if it is possible to record a physical extension such as Grandstream GXP1625 given that 3cx is licensed for Pro and the User >Options > Call Recording is set to "Record external calls only" (which takes away the need for Call Recording toggle) or only 3CX App/ Client will do?

I would like to confirm if it is possible to record a physical extension such as Grandstream GXP1625 given that 3cx is licensed for Pro and the User >Options > Call Recording is set to "Record external calls only" (which takes away the need for Call Recording toggle) or only 3CX App/ Client will do?

If you set the extension in 3CX to record calls, all endpoints on that extension (including IP phones, apps, etc) will be recorded.
