Voice Mail - Skipping Announcements

I can't figure out how to skip announcements.

Example. Some people are long winded on their VM announcements. On our old system you could press and button and go to start recording your message.

On the listening side, sometimes you want to skip the header info. Is there a way to skip ahead to the actual message?

As far as I'm aware, the only option you have is to jump to the operator, the star (*), as i recall.
