Good morning-

By default, voicemail length is set to time out at 2 minutes. It appears as though if you are in the middle of leaving a message and hit the timeout limit, you have to press 0 to send the message. If you just hang up, the message does not send.

Is this by design or is there a way to ensure the voicemail is sent after a hangup even if the user hits the timeout limit?

Hi,

To increase the max size of the vm go to settings then parameters and search for MAXVOICEMAILDURATION you can increase the size there, you then will not need to press 0 to send the message

I increased the duration per your instructions yesterday, so thank you for that. To confirm, if you configure a custom voicemail timeout limit, you do not need to press 0 to send the message even if your new timeout limit is hit -- hanging up will also send the message?

You will need to press 0 if the limit is hit, set a high enough limit so that does not happen to avoid loosing them
