Voicemail to Email

Hello, I would like to receive the voicemail in our email is this feature not available on the free startup package? I'm not looking for the transcript just the audio file.

Regarding your question, please note that with the 3CX Start-up version, an email will be sent, when a Voicemail is received, although will not contain the vmail as an attachment and you will need to log in to your webclient, desktop app, mobile app, or the PWA configured on the extension to listen the vmail. There is currently no way to change this.

If you are referring to the SMB Pro, then no, but with dedicated 3CX Hosted instances, you can configure how vmail is delivered.

@Charles_3CX understanding that the audio file isn't included as an attachment, how is "Voicemail Transcription" implemented in the 3CX SMB version? It's listed on the pricing and features page as included. Voicemail transcription is not implemented I’m afraid and in any case has now been removed from the features.

You can send a voicemail message as an attachment:
1. Create a ringgroup and add the user that should receive the message as a member
2. Configure the Destination if no answer of the ring group to the group Voicemailbox
3. You can now use the group voicemail on a user (select System Extension) or on a group.

In the Free version, you can only add 1 Ringgroup.. In the paid SMB version, the limit is the maximum of system Extensions.

Thank you ENVODI this is gold and works perfectly. I was shocked about this limitation but I guess that why its cheaper :/
