VOIP Phones and SIP Accounts

VOIP Phones will say how many SIP accounts they support 1,2,4 etc

A 3CX may be configured with 6 SIP lines with in bound and outbound routing to various extensions

A VOIP phone that supports only one SIP Account, is this phone restricted to only one SIP line or can it receive calls from more than one SIP line but only one at a time???

If a set can only be provisioned with one extension and the person at that set want to be able accept a second call when they are on the phone, then that option can be turned on for that extension in the 3CX settings.( Extension/Forwarding Rules/Available/I want to be able to accept more than 1 call at the same time) Then it is Call Waiting, where you would be allerted of a second call. How you take that call can depend on the set options.
