Loving 3CX phone system in every aspect except one. I even became Advanced Certified trying to figure it out and nothing...
I have never been able to understand this, even back when I started using 3CX, when it was on version 9 (2011). The fact that there is no easy way of doing easy ad-hoc 3-way conferencing on any of its clients: web client, Windows client, etc. It's all very weird: it takes you to a conference bridge (700) and uses 3 SC from your license, which is absurd!, then you can't disconnect from the third party and make that line available again. It's very complicated.
Clients from other vendors are very simple to use: you just conference lines 1 and 2, or 1, 2 and 3, etc. and done! If you want to disconnect from the third party or 4th party, you just disconnect that specific line and remain on with the rest of the lines you want. Again, very simple!
My question is WHY? Why are there no easy ad-hoc 3-way calls with 3CX??? This is a much needed addition that should have been implemented years ago!
Thanks!
