Web Conference: Desktop Sharing

Hi There,

I read on the Web Conference page that announced it had video capability (which I have working) that "desktop sharing" was also being worked on and would be available in the last quarter of "this year" (I am assuming 2011; there is no date on the announcement indicating when it was posted)

I am wondering what the timing of that might be? Even if it is within, say, the first six months of 2012, that would be fine.

Even if instead of desktop sharing, live editing of the "active" document by whomever has control?

Yes, desktop sharing would be a definitely drawcard for us. It is a feature we would use very heavily.

Has there been any movement on this front?

Elastix is a fantastic product, but each module seems to be not truly complete.
Each module billing, users, web conference, etc... are all missing the key features that prevent this from being the key tool.

As it stands now, I have to give everyone 3 different logins to 3 diferent systems to accomplish what Elastix should really be doing in one.

Anyways, was just looking to see if there was an update.

Unless it has been implemented in 2.3.0 (I haven't taken a look at it yet), then the Desktop sharing and/or live editing of documents is missing?

Is this feature available in the latest version?

Hi. I think that desktop sharing might be a real success for Elastix team and heavily used if implemented.
Still no news about it??
