Web Conference: Failed to convert to PDF?

Whenever I try to upload a document that is not already a PDF, I get an error from the web conference module that says:

"Failed to convert document
Document conversion to PDF failed -"

Is there a component I am missing that is needed for the PDF conversion? I have tried with just basic .doc, .xls, and even .txt files; all fail with the same error :-(

I had the same problem but after I changed the filename shorter and without spaces, it works.
