Hi,

When scheduling a video meeting there appears as though there are two URL's generated. There is one in the WebClient which has ".../join/..." in the URL and one in the downloaded *.ics (we using Desktop Outlook) that has ".../open/..." in the URL instead.

My understanding is that the /join/ URL can only be used by the organiser and the /open/ is for participants. Thus this is how the system diffirentiates the two.

Is this correct?

If so is there somewhere we can see the /open/ URL from the Web Client as it only appears to show the /join/ URL?

We have had instances where some users "lose" the .ics file as we don't actually use it other then to get the /open/ link to copy/paste in to our conference management system. If this happens there seems to be no way to find the /open/ link in the Web Client to provide to participants.

That is correct. The participant link (Open) can be found in the initial email sent to the participants and the webmeeting's organizer. It can also be found in the webmeeting itself, the organizer can briefly connect to the webmeeting and click on the "Copy Link" button in the upper-right corner:

Hope this helps!

/join is identifying a single person and only that person can use that link once

/open on the other hand is not assisting a user and can be used by many users to join. It’s more an adhoc invitation
