Hi

We created a scheduled Webinar on 3CX yesterday and imported via CSV a list of names and email addresses. I noticed that I never received my invitation, nor did someone else.

Looking at our Office 365 Mail Flow logs they were never received from the 3CX server.

However, this morning, 1hr prior to the Webinar, all of the reminders went out and I received one.

Anyone know what may have caused this? Is there some error logs I can look into?

Thanks

Tom

Having the exact same issue. Tried using both Office 365 and built in SMTP server to send. Reminders are delivered but not the original.

Interesting. Did you find any pattern at all when they didn't get sent? I found that some did get sent and others didn't.

Do you know of a way to re-send the invite?

No pattern. I do not see a way to re-send. Interestingly enough the only way I knew we had an issue was from the reminders.
BTW, I believe this also occurs even if you manually add every participant. Not just happening with importing through CSV.

That's good to know. Doing another webinar invitation later so will be interesting to see how many actually go out.

I've done some more testing. Setup 3 different Webinars each with 5 email addresses invited.

Only once did all 5 get an invite. When I cancelled the events, not all got the cancellation.

Something is defiantly not right.

3CX - Any ideas?

No pattern either I suspect? Makes it really difficult to trust the platform for conferencing if invitees aren't getting the invites.

Had another instance where it failed to send out all email invites yesterday afternoon.

Could someone at 3CX please look into this?

Thank you

The service responsible for sending your meeting invitations resides inside your PBX, 3CX System Service. You may increase the login level to verbose and send a new invitation. Any failed communication to your configured SMTP server will be shown in the service log file. Reminders are triggered by the cloud platform, still been send by your PBX.

Hi Stefan, thanks for looking at this. This issue occurs even with configured with Office 365. Some users do not get an invite, but they all get the reminders.

I can only point you to a direction as for me (not using Office 365 btw) cannot replicate it. As the mails are not sent from our Cloud, debug is within the PBX.

Reminders have one difference to the invitation, they are sent 1 by 1 where the general invitation is sent 1:X. May there is a TO rate limit? The log will be more specific about it.

Thanks for the information Stefan. I've managed to replicate the issue with the log set to Verbose, so I will see what I can find.

Tom please share your findings.

I've been having a look through the event log that I generated. I can see the invite and it lists the 5 email addresses that I added. However I am not seeing an SMTP error.

Stefan - What error message would you be expecting me to see?

If I send an email to the same 5 addresses directly from Outlook, all the emails are sent correctly. I don't think it is because of any limits on the Office365 side of things.
