Hi,

I have a probleme when I whant to start a webmeeting from my windows 3cx application.
  • I go to webmeeting tab
  • put some email
  • and chose "start now" or "schedule" button

all the mail are not send

by if i start the webmeeting and add some email with "add participant" these receive their email

it's not OK too if I schedule it from the web interface

Hi @gdesnoues

Can you share some additional info with us?

1.) Exact version of your PBX as it appears on the dashboard
2.) What SMTP server you use under Settings > Email > Mail Server
3.) Do you use the same recipient emails in both cases? i.e [email protected] fails via the schedule-meeting on the client but works when adding the same participant after starting the meeting? Or are we talking about different addresses each time?

excuse me for the delay
  1. PBX v15.5.15502
  2. Office365
  3. the same email in both case (tested with a @gmail.com and personnal domain hosted by OVH)

I would suggest to go to your management console Settings > Email > Mail Server and choose 3CX SMTP Server instead of your O365.

Then, please create a new WebMeeting the same way as you did before, and see if the email will be delivered this time before you enter the meeting.

I remember a bug in v15.5 that this would happen at times, under certain conditions.
I'm guessing it was fixed in v16.

I wait for my provider to migrate to the v16. I will come back to you after new tests in this version

I have the same issue, support advised updating to 16, which I did but the problem is still there. When I switch to 3cx SMTP it works fine. Put back to smtp.office365.com and it does not work, however, regular system notices do work.

I set up a local SMTP relay instead on an IIS server - restricted to internal server IP's only - and it relays to Office 365. In 365 I setup a new Transport restricted to receive email only from the NATed Public IP of the SMTP server. Never have any issues.

The other thing you can do it when creating a new conference in the Webclient is to select Office365 calendar and it will open Office365 Webmail for you to add recipients. And you will see who accepts and declines in your webmail.

hello,
now in v16 and 3cx SMTP it works fine. so i will stay on this config
thanks
