Solved Webmeeting File Transfer - Need to disable

Good day community. I have a client that uses the webmeeting functions and they would like to disable the file transfer option within the meeting. Is this possible either by the person chairing the meeting, or as a global setting in the 3CX admin portal?

Another question (Compliance Related) is if Instant messages are recorded and archived? If you need more info on our practices, please check our privacy policy for WebMeeting here.

Hi there,

For the moment it's not possible to disable file transfers globally. Keep in mind that only presenters and organizers can share files. Users with the 'participant' role cannot use this feature. We're releasing an installable version of our meeting server soon, with this you'll be able to control functions like global recording. We need a while longer to release this.

Instant messages are not logged, recorded, stored or archived at all.
