Webmeeting: Meeting has not started yet. Retry later.

Hi,

We are having a problem with Webmeeting. We are using it as a click to call link in a webpage.

When the link is clicked, the Webmeeting page opens, and then when the client enters his/her name and clocks Log in, nothing happens and the message "Meeting has not started yet. Retry later." displays below the Log In label.

No chat/email notification is sent - basically nothing happens.

Webmeeting is working on our server, appropriate ports are open, etc.

Have tried this in all browsers with same result.

Server is Linux, not that that matters.

Any fix?

Hi Simon

By default the host extension has to be logged into the Webmeeting room before the room can be joined by a 3rd party participant. The room doesn't exist until a host joins, so that's why it says the meeting hasn't started

If you change the default behaviour in the extension settings to "Receive a chat/email with a link to a private meeting room" it allows the 3rd party to join and the host will get notified on 3CX chat and email that someone has joined, with a link to the room
