Webmeeting Moderation Participant Rejoins As Organizer

Hi,

By default webmeeting users join as organizers and there is no way to change that. We can change that using the moderation options and set a user as a participant, however if that user leaves the meeting and rejoins, they come back as an organizer which is causing some issues. Is this the intended behavior or is there a way to change that?

Hi,

Do not share the organizer link with them, if you are the organizer then your link that you receive in your email is only for you.

The people you invite via email will receive a different link to prevent this problem you describe.
The link for the participants (or guests) can be also found here


If you share this link, they will not be organizers

They meetings are created using the schedule conference option. The links are the ones received via email.

Can we just say that the permissions side of WebMeeting needs work? Too easy to be hacked or lose the link or leak it. Same for participants links.

WebMeeting is awesome, but the scheduling/config part really needs a lot of work still! You'll get there guys!

we want webmeeting because the participants want to talk to each other. However, for some meetings users don't want the meeting to be recorded and some people enable it by accident.
