Webmeeting not working

I tried to use Webmeeting with an outside party today. When that party clicked on the link in the email he saw nothing but a blank screen in his browser. This was a scheduled conference.

I tried sending him a link for a webmeeting, not scheduled. Still got the same thing.

It appears that he is using Internet Explorer for his browser.


Why is he not able to connect to my webmeetings?

Hi there,

Internet explorer is not a supported browser. If you try to use it with most versions of it, you'll see a warning that says this. We'll take a look why this warning is not shown to the user and get it fixed if needed.

It's best to use Chrome or Firefox.

I have been testing this on Edge for Mac and seems to be working well because it is Chromium based.

Of course, this is still in Preview.

Yes, the new Chromium based Edge seems to be working like a charm so far. We're holding our horses though till it's release becomes official.

Obviously it works. It's based on Chrome.

Any plan to support Firefox or Safari for Mac? (I know, don't use Safari, it's crappy. But some people do.)
