The website visitors chat/talk/video feature sounds great, however, I think there are a lot of users of the Joomla platform that will be disappointed that their platform isn't supported.

Can you please consider building a Joomla plugin?

I don't wanna be rude to you but anyone using Joomla is gonna be let down anyway.

That platform is dead. Hasn't been evolved in years. Consider using another CMS like WordPress or build your own.

Also, they are supposed to release a vanilla HTML/JS version of the plugin once done. That will serve your purpose.

Unfortunately I don't choose the platform but I hadn't heard that about Joomla so an interesting thing to investigate.

A generic plugin would be ideal, seems odd that they've built a WP module if this will be available.

Joomla works better than WordPress. WordPress is design to be a blog website. People have started making WordPress popular because it's easy but it's not a real website. I vote to have a Joomla plugin this is necessary!

The standalone script which you can create in the Management Console is platform agnostic. Which means you just add a piece of HTML code in your CMS (be that WordPress, Joomla etc) and it will work just fine.

Try it: Settings -> WordPress/Website Integration -> Website Code Generator (second tab). Make sure that the website URL is configured in the first tab.

Hello,
I know that. In that version You can't change some text into yours language like in WP (for example there is no translation-own text for offline box). There is no session management that allow users moving around Yours page without closing session and losing text that was written.
There is a lot of stuff to make that functionality to be ready for real using and I think that without integration with Joomla it will be not working enough flexible for using in real world for Joomla users (and for other system that Live Chat is not integrated with platform specific).

I have it working in Joomla 3.9 and also tested it on Joomla 4.0

1. using the wizard on the 3cx site, follow all the steps, generate the callus.js file and upload to a directory on your website.

2. Take this part <script src="https://"path on your site"/callus.js" id="tcx-callus-js"></script> of the script out from the bottom of the Callus Snippet and place in the <head> section of your Joomla template with the path to your callus.js file. (I tried running it from the Sourcerer plugin but it did not run from there.)

3. Install the Regular Labs Sourcerer plugin on your Joomla site. (This allows you to run code within your Joomla site)

4. Create a new custom module and assign it to the position where you want the Chat to be on your site, assign the pages where you want it shown as well.

5. Generate the Callus Snippet and copy the code (minus the script part of it on the bottom) in between the {source} {/source} tags using the code tab in your module.

Enjoy!
