Welcome Email

As all of you know the welcome email is very important for new extensions as well as updating old ones, however most people will not read the entire email. the webclient link is the problem. Most people will click on the first link as the IP, then they will get a SSL Error Message of NOT Trusted, as the SSL Cert is issued to the fqdn and not the IP address, I dont have the time to go through all email templates nor do i have time to enplane to all my clients to go to the "outside the office" link, it would be real nice to remove that link by default.

You could always do your installs to use FQDN and not local IP so they always look to FDQN.

i believe doing it this way removes the local link out of the welcome email

You can change the welcome email template:

If you go into the system and go under the settings menu on the left then choose Email from the blue boxes you will see a template tab. In that list of templates you will see the one that is for the welcome email. You can adjust that template there.
