What is going on? Trying to test this software before full upgrade.

Hello,

I am very frustrated as I am trying to test our your product before doing a full upgrade for my company.

I setup a google VM and found the 3cx in the marketplace.

I put the licence key from the free 3cx signup (says its valid until December 31st but I will upgrade before then) and am getting an error message.

Please can someone help me to activate and try out the software?

Alternatively I see I can do a configuration file upload but where do I get this file? I looked everywhere admin dashboard etc. Thank you everyone very much!

The Free or SMB versions are not available with self hosting. If you have a Pro trial you can generate a configuration file for it: https://www.3cx.com/docs/manual/installing-debian-linux-pbx/#h.pa8ixc18xv5r

You are using a FREE SMB which cannot be used for a self hosted installation. For the SMB installations please refer here and for the 3CX licensing and features also here.
