We got yealink T46s phone. We use two of them as line, and line.
So pickup the phone and make a call to someone. I put them on hold.
I then press the line 1 that I setup and make another call to someone else. when the call is finish or hangup, it also hang up my call on hold. Is this not the correct way to set this up?

I mean i can setup parking 1 and parking 2
so when I make a call. I can press parking 1 and the call will stay there, while I pickup the phone again and call someone else. and finish with that call and come back and press parking 1 to answer the call this way work fine, but my client i sold school and they want to use the put call ON HOLD.

Can someone enlight me on how to set this up correctly?

thank you

Simply enable "Accept Multiple Calls" under Forwarding Rules.

Then, add as many line keys you need to the BLF section. This will make it work just like old systems where they can click the second line to pickup a call and it will put the current one on hold automatically. Transfers and conferences work this way too. Do some testing on your side and you'll see it works pretty well.
