What to do about locked threads with incorrect information that is feeding Google / AI the wrong answers.

I found out that Intercom didn't work out the box, so I googled it.


I was trying to learn about he requirements, so I clicked on the first 3cx article. (Intercom between groups?)

The most relevant post says this:


Dial Codes and Paging have moved.

>Admin >System >Dial Codes >Paging is the new home.

Ideally people could reply to old threads to help keep information up to date, but the lock threads as early as possible mantra contributes to incorrect information.

Thank you for your feedback. We are taking steps to address older data coming up, especially on AI tools, but a 5 year old thread should definitely not be used for current guidance.
