whatsapp not reciving messages on v20

Hi 3CX Community,


We were running WhatsApp Business API integration on 3CX successfully, but after upgrading to version 20, we are no longer receiving messages.

• 3CX Version: 20
• WhatsApp Integration: Official WhatsApp Business API
• Configuration: Verified and correct (was working before the upgrade)
• Issue: Messages are not being received. In the 3CX logs, we see:

Lc:10002(@whatsapp2[<sip:0/UDP>]) has invalid configuration: primary target is empty

• Troubleshooting done:
  
  • Server reachable on port 443 (HTTPS)
  • Firewall and NAT rules checked
  • WhatsApp API credentials confirmed

It seems like the system is not routing incoming messages correctly.


Can anyone advise on:

1. What “primary target is empty” means in this context?
2. How to restore message reception for WhatsApp Business API in 3CX v20?
3. Any v20-specific changes affecting WhatsApp integration?

Hi,

As a first step, can you check if all the settings in the WhatsApp config match with the other side, toke, phone number, Webhook URL etc. In case any of those for some reason was changed in anyway.

If everything there looks OK, can you place the system logging in Verbose mode and see if any more detail comes up?

my setup is on permesis i thing no logging level there , everything in configuration is ok , i deleted everything and re integrated again
