Yes I am sitting awaiting the release of this to. Can't wait to see the finished product....

It seems that a test should be finished around Wanpipe before to be out. That's all.
The rest should be ready, so the RC3 is almost the final version i guess.

Any news in this matter?

4 was 'released' awhile ago. Not production ready last time I checked.

It's still under RC3.
This version seems to be in standby.
Several issues around the network config and other bugs.

Wasn't there a song that came out many moons ago titled "Anticipation"........

as we all eagerly wait to see the finished product....

A good product is, a great product is always worth the wait.....

My mistake. I confused v4 with v3.

v4 was pretty much production ready when we did a preliminary test on RC3. Never did a comprehensive test so there may be some little things. I guess it is not designed to be upgradeable to production so that could be a problem. I wouldn't use it for anything too critical just yet but it seemed to be able to do the basics fairly well.

My one issue with it is that it does not work with Asterisk v13 and Asterisk v11 support ends this year. So that is a big problem imho. Hopefully they address that. I know that has a lot to do with Freepbx v11 not supporting Asterisk v13. So they will probably have to try add freepbx v13 at some point.

Just my opinion but I think they would be better off waiting till they have it working with Asterisk v13 before releasing. The current v2.5 is all that is needed for Asterisk v11. Moving the same thing over to Centos v7 with a new GUI doesn't really add much value. It's still essentially all the same code underneath.

V4 under RC3 is not finished. So when it should be out? That is the question.
I'm waiting this one since a long time for my development.
V3 is multi-tenant version with Asterisk RT & Kamalio.
So, sure not the same like V4 which is the same like 2.5 but under CENTOS 7.0.

Good News!

Appears that Elastix 4.0 Stable has been released in the last 12 hours - might take time to update in all mirrors, but it is there.
