The last 2 days, I have found my hosted email service blocking 3CX voicemail delivery.

What is the best address to whitelist to avoid this from happening? This happened several years ago, was corrected by my email host and is recurring for some strange reason.

If the block is on their end it may be best to speak with them and see what they can do.

Thanks. I have a call out to them but wasn't sure if there was a preferred whitelist address that may help them.

This is the response I am receiving from my email provider. They believe 3CX might be adding me to their bounce list.

"The only message form [email protected] that has contacted our service since 4/28 was delivered delivered normally yesterday to one of our other clients. I do not have any logs for message attempts sent to you.

That generally means there is a problem with the sending service preventing it from ever making contact. Since we hav e a log showing delivery to a different domain on our service, we know there is no block form our end, and that their service is capable of sending through.

This tells me it is probably a bounce list issue or something similar on the sending end. Can you ask their support to check to see if your address is on a bounce list? From my experience frontline support is not always aware of them, so you may need to get it escalated to get an answer. If it is, then they are automatically bouncing every message they try to send to you, removing your address form that list will fix the issue.

Alternatively, that is not the address they sent from, which is why I didn't find results."

If it's a specific recipient address, as I understand it the 3CX SMTP provider will block delivery for 7 days, after a message bounces. (so it isn't continually failing). AFAIK 3CX can remove that block via a support ticket.

Have you tried a different email address? Perhaps using plus addressing or an alias to deliver to the same mailbox?

Yes. Other domains work fine. It would be nice to add whitelisted domains on user end although not sure if possible.

So, it's any email address at one domain?
