I have 4 users that use the 3cx windows client.

Recently 2 of the users have an issue when receiving and direct or multicast page (*9###), the desktop phone will start to pickup the page, then the page will transfer to the 3cx windows client.

If I close the 3cx windows client (not running in background) the desk phone will act normal and receive the paging call's.
I then after restarting the 3cx windows client the issue returns.

All 4 of the users are on the same 3cx windows client version 15.5.12227.5 using yealink t29g phones.
All 4 users are members of the same ring group.
Incoming phone calls when dialing just the extension number or a outside incoming call works fine and stays on the desk phones.

Any help would be greatly appreciated as I have searched through all the 3cx client settings and found nothing that is different between the 2 working and non working users.

Hello @[email protected]

Please note that the Invite will be sent to all available devices under each extension. The first device that picks up ( since they auto-answer) will get the call while the Invite to the second device will be cancelled. If the clients are answering the call faster then the call will be established with the 3CX client.

Is there a way to tell the 3cx windows client to ignore incoming pages and multicast pages?
they only use the windows client for the receptionist view to see active incoming calls to the main number and or transfer calls to other users easier.

I am afraid there is no way for client to specifically ignore multicast calls. I would recommend posting this as a feature request to our ideas section of the forum https://www.3cx.com/community/forums/3cx-ideas/ . All posts are reviewed by their corresponding Departments and, if feasible and voted for by other users as well, may be implemented in an upcoming service pack or update.
