Hi, we are testing 3CX via a proof of concept model for Senior Leaders however we are trying to provision a windows client to show features. V16 (trial) forces the use of 3CX's SMTP server but we are still trying to resolve a firewall issue to make that connect. However to configure a windows client you need to be able to send this email to get the attachment.

Is there a way of getting this / configuring the client without the welcome email?

Hello @Pesmith

The only way provision a 3CX windows client without a welcome email is through PnP. If the PBX and the client are on the same subnet then the 3CX client will send a PnP request to the PBX and you should see the client listed under the "Phones" tab.
You can then assign the client to an extension and the client will provision.

Not a problem any more as we sorted the firewall. Thanks for response.:)
