X4u v2 wifi will not register

Current firmware: 2.12.16.20
Asus GT-AX11000 router no special configuration
Factory reset 3 times
We get Provisioning file for MAC xxxxxxxxxxx of user xxxx requested by xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx was successfully generated.
Provisioning file f0v4uv200000.cfg requested by xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx could not be generated.

So, it shows that it generates the provisioning file but then show us it cannot.

It did this after each factory reset and removal from the extension.

The phone shows it's been provisioned by showing the extension and name but registration failed.

Any ideas?

Can we have the old activity log back events log is just not detailed enough?

Try provisioning on wired then enable wireless. That was necessary with Yealink router phones.

Thats annoying that was the whole purpose of getting the wireless phone as wired jack and router was in another location.

Thank you perhaps that should be put in the guides.

Yeah it took a bit my first time. I think it’s a cross between wireless not being supported and the setup detecting the wrong MAC on the phone…not really sure. But it works after. If possible we do it in our office then ship it.

@SteveITS We had done a few before but I didn't make the connection as we provisioned on ethernet first then moved them. We will use ethernet first going forward. It also didn't help that the distributor sent us the wrong mac address via email which was different that the one they shipped. Hope to get it sorted out later today...thanks again...
