x6u v2?

How does one tell a x6u v1 from a v2? It looks like I cannot load firmware 2.12.15.1 onto the one I have with me. I don't see any designation anywhere from a v2 and I just bought this phone in September, yet I see firmware dates for it as far as June.

Look at the label at the back of the device, there is some fine print:

This also appears on the box under the barcode

The FW you mentioned must be a typo?

only the x6U V2 as shown in the dropdown menu
