Yealink phone reset

Hi,

We have a few phones which were provisioned in 3cx however a collegue who has now left deleted a few extensions related to them hence no phone passwords to factory reset the phone.
How do we factory reset yealink phone without 3cx phone password?

Normally you press the ok button, until you see ‘set to factory default’ and then follow the prompts

The phone requires a password entered to factory reset. Which I don't have as the phone is showing up in provisioning of any extension. It was provisioned to an extension which is now been used by another tech.

what about adding the Mac address to a new extension and provisioning it...
I haven't had to do this before... but its worth a shot.

Interesting the "OK" button is not working...
With a TFTP server you might be able to use a Recovery Rom.

The OK button works but when it requires a password to factory reset. Since the phone was previously registered via 3cx it still has the 3cx bound to it. Hence I cannot reset without the previous 3cx phone password it has.

That's what I meant by "not working".... but recovery rom should work.

very odd, have reset many yealink phones by pressing and holding the ok button

Pressing and holding OK should perform a factory reset without any credentials required. You are holding the OK button, and not trying to select reset in the on-screen menus?
