Situation: i have an active call on my yealink, and i get an other call in the ring group where my yealink is in. At this point all phones are ringing. When i end my active call by putting down the horn, my yealink doesn't start ringing with the other phones in the ring group. And i have no idea how to pick up the call..

How can i fix this?

There may be other ways to fix this, but this is how I do it.

Call Queuse in place of ring groups.

Thanks 3cxnub: i cannot use call queue for i don't have the pro version and i don't want a second line to queue.

I only have one ring roup with 4 phones. 3x cisco, 1 yealink. With the cisco's i can take a new incomming call after i end my actie call. With the yealink i cannot.

You can use limit functions of the queue with a standard license - it is only the advanced features you need pro or enterprise license

We have a std license and use queues for incoming calls - it works fine

I have found a temporary fix by programming a line key.

type: speed dail
value: *20*
label: pick up
extension: *20*

Hello @rcvrs

The reason this does not work in Ring groups is because Ring Groups use SIP forking to notify the agents that there is an incoming call. The request is sent at the start of the call so if at that time an extension is busy it will not receive that call even if you hang up.
Queues handle this differently as the queue manager answers that call and check for available agents for every polling cycle.

As saqqara said, you can use queues in standard edition.
