After the update to 18.0 Update 6, I was required to designate a System Owner.
Upon doing that, I was required to lengthen/complicate the login username, password and web interface password for the phone.
You cannot save any changes without changing ALL these settings.

It no longer registers. I logged into the phone and manually updated the web password. That seems fine.
But the account will not register.

Updated the 3cx on my mobile. Appears to work fine.

Yes, the phone eventually ended up on the blacklist. Deleted that. Registration still fails. NO other changes were made to the phone, connection, etc.
The T48S in on 66.86.0.5 which is the latest listed.

Yes, I did remove the phone from provisioning. And re-added. Still registration fails.

I created a new extension for the owner, so it didn't have a phone. Does your phone register if you move system owner to another ext., and register the phone to the old one?

re: username, the system owner is an extension so has only a numeric username to log in to the web client...didn't think that was changeable? I was not prompted when creating a new extension.

I did not change the ext for the web client.
I'll try moving the owner to a new extension.

No joy. Bumped the extension to 'Manager'.

Did see this in the log though:
Provisioning file /provisioning/xxx/TcxProvFiles/3cxProv_110715110717_248.xml requested by x.x.x.x could not be generated

Did some reading and found a reference to DHCP opt 66 discussing errors in provisioning path.

Looked at the phone's web page and there was indeed an error in the path. Corrected, re-provisioned and now working!

uggh...
