Yealink T48U can not register thrue a domain server2012

Hope you’re doing fine.



I have a problem with yealink T48U to register with 3CX server thru windows domain server 2012.

I have 12 phones yealink T43U connected on the same network and working perfectly.



These 2 phones T48U they get an IP but they can not register, and if I plug my laptop thru the phone I don’t get internet.
I can get to user & password .(i can see the exts, the BLF, ect...) but no registration.

The T48U connected directly to the router works fine. (bypassing the domain DHCP)

The same phone T48U same setup (cable, router, ect…) provisioned with a different provider works fine. only with 3CX DO NOT WORK

If I plug a T48S works fine with 3CX with the same setup.

The port on the back of the phone that you connect a PC to does passthrough. Which means if a PC connected to that port can't get online, likely the phone itself can't get online (and this can't register, etc).

Sounds like you have VLAN tagging turned on in 3CX and set wrong if the phone works with another provider but not 3CX.



Otherwise, standard network troubleshooting. Why can't the PC get to the internet. Can it get to the local gateway? DNS ok? etc

Thank you for your reply.
1 According to the picture you sent, the VLAN is off.
2 Same phone with the 3CX ext config if i connected at home it works fine (only when it pass thrue the server2012 do not work)
3 On the same network thrue the server if i reset the phone i will get to the loging screen, it put the user and pass i will get all the keys i programmed but are are dimmed!!

That picture is from my system - you need to check your systems.

Regardless, if not a VLAN setting on the phone, then something on that network is likely blocking internet / 3CX access. You need to troubleshoot that - the PC connected via LAN port is a good troubleshooting tool.

YES according to your picture, comparing to my config NO VLAN is set.
What is funy all phones work fine accept these 2 phones.
Could be a firmware bug blocking the server?? The 48S work fine.

It could be a strange firmware bug. You can manually set the firmware in the UI - use this version from 3CX:
https://downloads.3cx.com/downloads/v180/templates/firmwareupdates/yealink/T4XU-108.86.0.72.rom
But I don't think so because you said that phone works when connected to another network / direct to ISP modem.

But I find it strange that a laptop connected to the network can't get online either.
If the laptop is direct into the same port the phone is on, does the PC have internet? If not, that port/network has an issue.
