A user can dial out fine, but when attempting to use access Vmail, no input is acknowledged by 3cx (v16).

Recently (over the weekend) upgraded the phone firmware to latest.

These are internal calls on the local network where the 3cx is hosted. I'm off-site now so can't test other phones. but looking for ideas...

Yes, that is the version. T56A's are all on 58.86.0.20. The 3CX is 16.0.8.9

I have 2 phones where the input is not being received by the voicemail and 2 that are working as expected.

Any ideas?

are they provisioned with the 3CX template or manually configured?

3cx provisioned using 3cx template, no modifications, all was working fine on Friday. Firmware update, via 3cx, on Saturday.

Hi @carlmuck

Edit your T56A extension and under Provisioning go and remove the Opus codec.

Press ok to save and then reprovision the Yealink. This should solve the issue.

If you upgrade to V18 this will no longer be an issue.

Thanks, that worked.

Curious, though, why the last CODEC in the list would cause this issue.

Hi Carl,

There was an issue in V16 under certain scenarios, when Opus was used with DTMF.

V18 fixes those issues, so if you want to use Opus you can do so when you upgrade to V18 (now available for both Windows & Linux)
