Hello,

All our Yealink T58A phones currently show the status ‘unsupported phone’ with a note saying ‘58.86.0.180 is available.’ However, when I click Upgrade, the system returns an ‘Internal system error.’ Is there any way to fix this? Updating the firmware manually isn’t a big deal, but I’d rather not repeat that process for several dozen devices. Just in case, 3CX v20 Update 7.

Thank you!

You can reset the firmware update buffer once; it's worth a try.
Under Admin / Phones / Options / IP Phone Firmware, select "Use Untested - Unsupported Firmware" once, close the dialog with OK, then reopen the Options dialog, re-enable the "Use 3CX Supported Firmwares" option, close the dialog with OK, and then check the user phones whether updates are available. This may take a while.

Fantastic! Your firmware update buffer reset trick really worked. About an hour after the reset, the update option became available again, and the firmware on the phones was updated seamlessly. Thank you so much!

Great fix. Thanks!
