Hi everyone,
We're running a 3CX system with a warehouse using several Zebra TC21 rugged Android devices.
On Android 10: Everything works well with the Telecom API enabled, including inbound/outbound calls and Bluetooth headset controls.
On Android 11 and Android 13:
We’re thinking of updating one device to Android OS 14 using Zebra’s LifeGuard, but the update is paid (~$175).
My question:
Has anyone successfully used the 3CX Android app on Android 14, ideally on a Zebra TC21 or similar industrial Android device?
Does the Telecom API work properly on Android 14 with the latest version of the app?
Any confirmation from 3CX staff or other users would be really appreciated before we invest in the upgrade.

- If Telecom API is enabled, outgoing calls fail with the message: "Outgoing calls not permitted by telecom", and incoming calls don’t ring.
- If Telecom API is disabled, calls work, but Bluetooth headset buttons (answer/hang up) stop working or cause disconnection.
