    When using the windows client to make a call to a phone book number the client does not display what it is calling until the call has been established. Is this by design ?

    I deployed something very similar and it comes down to just punching numbers during an active call. Iirc it is also possible to have the relais triggered just by calling the extension itself, depending on your setup this might be an option.
