  1. Solved IP Config Issues

I installed the debian version on a fresh VMware VM, thinking I would be asked what IP address to use for the LAN. This did not come up during the debian install phase. During the 3CX install, I specified my desired LAN IP of 192.168.60.227. For whatever reason, the address 192.168.60.101 was...
  2. Implemented Able to Set Mobile Number as "SP1"/2/3/4

Actually, I was doing a bit of testing with this and I still see a problem. I see that if I add a BLF to the 3CX softphone for Windows and a Fanvil X5S I am testing with, the SP1 BLF does not light up when a call is parked there. This is not at all helpful. Is this normal behavior? Roy
  3. Implemented Able to Set Mobile Number as "SP1"/2/3/4

...and we thank them for putting this back! Roy
  4. Solved General Mailbox, no extension?

OK, I think I have solved this. I had been forwarding to the extension rather than directly to the mailbox number. Case closed... :)
  5. Solved General Mailbox, no extension?

I have incoming calls on a particular line ringing a number of phones in a group. If the call is not answered, would like the call to go to a general mailbox, not one of the ringing extensions. I don't see a way to create a mailbox without adding an extension. If I add an extension, it seems it...
  6. Firmware Location for Linux Install?

I hate to get nasty, but evidently, nobody reads these things before replying and offering up their favorite ftp client and how to use them, (or other useless bits) when I clearly stated I have filezilla (and know how to use it). The problem was that the PBX was not responding to FTP, so I had...
  7. Firmware Location for Linux Install?

Anyone there? I need to know how to access the provisioning folder with FTP. FTP does not appear to be enabled. Thanks, Roy
  8. Firmware Location for Linux Install?

Grrrr. This is like pulling teeth... Yes, I used the 3cx ISO. Forget about SSH - I already said I could use the console to get in and that isn't going to help me get files into the provisioning folder anyway. The real issue is it won't allow me to connect using FTP. It times out. This is what I...
  9. Firmware Location for Linux Install?

Yes, I finally figured out that the phone was not registering. I tried another phone and that one registered OK. The real problem is trying to get the files into the provisioning folder manually. I know what an FTP client is, but FTP just does not seem to be enabled. I am using FileZilla and...
  10. Firmware Location for Linux Install?

I provisioned the phone in the PBX. The phone boots OK and shows the assigned extension but won't make or take calls. It does not appear in the phones page, so I can't really do anything with the firmware that I can see. There does not appear to be any GUI method for accessing the provisioning...
  11. Firmware Location for Linux Install?

Excellent. Now, how does one go about getting files into that folder?
