Snom D735 phones keep randomly trying to update firmware despite being on the latest version

Are any of the phones setup in SRAPS? At times we will use SRAPS to push firmware updates and remove once ready to deploy.

    Inbound calls suddenly not working

When the incoming calls stop working are all services on 3CX running? Does the event log show any errors? Wouldn't hurt to run a packet capture and call in to see if the call reaches 3CX from the carrier.

    Solved 3CX firewall check error

Does this 3CX server have multiple NICs? Does your SonicWall have any security services enabled (geo ip filter, botnet filter, gateway AV) I haven't seen that error but asked if it has multiple NICs in case it is using the wrong NIC as the default internet facing NIC.

3CX over Meraki MX Site-to-Site VPN

As long as the site to site VPN is passing traffic it will work. Phones will need to either be provisioned to use local IP or ensure the DNS can resolve the internal IP to go over the tunnel. We have several customers with multiple locations and an IPSEC VPN between the SonicWalls at each...

If extra spaces aren't being pasted before or after then I would try clearing your browsers cache.

Migrating Hyper-V 3cx instance from backup to Azure VM

Are you creating the Azure VM using PBX Express from the portal? https://www.3cx.com/docs/hosting-pbx-phone-system-microsoft-azure/ Are you shutting the on prem instance off when trying to restore?

    Record DR Prompt

We have had more users want a way to record/change the DR prompt via telephone instead of management console since they used that on previous systems. I am trying to build a basic CFD that present them with option 1 to return to the usual prompt. Pressing 2 records a new prompt and am trying to...

    Plug’n’Play Provision

I took the phones onsite and finished setup today, the new phones showed 192.53.103.104 pool.ntp.org during boot. Some showed up and provisioned as expected. On the others I went to put the config server path in manually. I have an open ticket with Snom for phones randomly showing the date as...

The wrap up time is on the advanced tab when editing the call queue.

    Plug’n’Play Provision

This came up today as I am working on setting up a new phone system for a customer and the phone shows up on the phone tab but doesn't provision after choosing all the settings. It comes up with the time having the correct minutes but hours is for a different time zone. When looking at the web...

    Agent Login History

I guess the report is correct. I forgot this customer has a VoipTools subscription so I pulled up the Competitive wallboard report. I will run it by the manager to see how much wrap up time is needed as they are typically putting all the information into the CRM will talking to the client.

Unsupported Fanvil C62 - Phone displays Update Done/Update Failed every couple of minutes

If you insist on using the unsupported phone your best bet will probably be to manually configure/register it and leave the extension configured with just the app or make a custom template for the phone. We have manually registered Snom C620 conference phones but they don't need changes like...

    Queues Panel

We had a user who is in 2 queues not able to see both from the desktop app this afternoon. This morning both were there and he logged out of one. In the evening he went to log back into the queue but it wasn't listed. We had him reboot but that didn't help.

Solved 3CX 18.0 Update 3 (build 461): Bug in "IP in Blacklist"?

If you have the automatic global blacklist enabled the range you are wanting to block may already be on that list.

Cisco SPA 525G Is this phone no longer supported?

They are considered legacy https://www.3cx.com/sip-phones/cisco-spa/ They don't support SBC or STUN so it may not show up if you are hosted by 3CX but my on premise installs show that model as an option.

Solved No audio after update from v16 to v18

Steps that @SteveITS referenced work. They did change source port remap a little on SonicOS 7. Inbound Rule: NAT IN: NAT OUT: Source port remap should not be ticked

The ability to just enable/disable 1 SIP trunk only, not all trunks

You can edit the trunk you want to disable, go to options and unchecked allow inbound and allow uutbound calls.

Solved No audio after update from v16 to v18

We typically enable consistent NAT and make the outbound NAT policy say disable source port remap. We make the rules manually and never use the wizard. SonicWall is the only firewall we sell to customers.
