Hi !

In context ;
* The CallFlow extension number is: 8000
* To use billing code, just add **[Your Billing code] in dialing.

With an extension, I dial 8000**4101.

I correctly reach the Call Flow

Other than reading the CDR (CSV) file, is there a way for CallFlow to see the billing code for the current call ?
( Similar “ session.did “ or “ session.ani “ )

Obviously, my reflex was to look at the value obtained in “ session.DNIS ” if “billing code” is there, but there is not :-(
( I already suspected the result. The result is logical and normal … The name says it itself ..” dialed number identification service “ .. but he who does not try, obtains nothing.. :oops: )

I want to avoid as much as possible use of 3CXCallControlAPI :oops:

What would be the use billing code to CallFlow ?
I'm looking for a solution to override the "User Input" component in CallFlow .
If I can identify the billing code, I could use it in a condition instead of requiring a “user input” :)
Similar to .. conference call (7000*[Call Conference ID] alternative to 7000 , prompt user input [Call Conference ID].

Thx

Have you tried with session.did? The generated script initializes that variable as:
variableMap["session.did"] = new Variable(MyCall.Caller.CalledNumber);

I haven't tried this, but maybe it's there.

Isn't that only when the DID is external and has an inbound rule associated?

For external calls, it's the DID and it's only filled when the inbound rule is there. But for internal calls it might have the dialed number, I never tried it to be honest, as usually it's useless as you already know the extension number in which the CFD app is deployed....

Hi Ernesto !
Thank you for taking the time to answer me.

But sad, the variable (session.did) is empty.

To keep it simple, I tested like this, just to avoid confusion.

When I look.. it gives me "empty"

But your logic was good, it would have been really great! I'll have to fall back on CallControlAPI unless you have an other idea :)
Do you know if CallControlAPI will be maintained after REST API planned in the future?

Thx

The Call Control API is heavily used internally, so I don't think it will be removed. It would require a complete re-engineering of 3CX doing that.... However, we can't be 100% sure..... In any case, if this will be removed, 3CX will inform users in advance, as there are many tools and extensions created by 3CX partners based on it.

Well understood !
Thanks for your help !
Thank you for your work at 3CX, we are all looking forward to seeing the next version of the CallFlow "generator"!

Say no more :-),
Santa Claus never reveals gifts in advance! lol
Unless it's coal LOLLLLLLL !

See you soon
